Dr. Steven Gurgevich is a licensed psychologist specializing in Mind-Body and Behavioral Medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona, College of Medicine, within Dr. Andrew Weil’s Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Gurgevich also continues his forty years of private practice at Behavioral Medicine, Ltd, in Tucson, Arizona.
He is a Fellow and faculty of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Other professional memberships are: Fellow and Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists; faculty member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine; Diplomate and Senior Disability Analyst of the American Board of Disability Analysts; the Society of Behavioral Medicine; the American Psychological Association, and state and local psychological societies.
Dr. Gurgevich offers a wide variety of clinical, educational and community services. Currently, he spends his professional time seeing patients in private practice, directing the Program in Integrative Medicine Mind-Body Clinic (which treats patients and teaches physicians), participating in NIH grants and research, offering training workshops, serving as the “Mind-Body Expert”.
Dr. Gurgevich and his wife, Joy, live and practice near Sabino Canyon in Tucson, Arizona.
