Mental health is just as important as physical health, as it can drastically affect quality of life when imbalanced. A range of mental health practice types exists, including individual therapists, community mental health centers, mental health groups or departments within larger facilities, etc. Mental health practices share a common goal of diagnosing and treating mental and behavioral health conditions as well as helping patients manage stress and other life challenges. Mental health facilities can provide individual or group therapy, psychosocial support, psychiatric medication, and many other services.
