Dr Bakhchi has extensive training and experience in the treatment of depression, stress management, and anxiety disorders, and she has helped her patients to cope effectively with chronic illness. She has complemented her clinical work with research pertaining to factors relevant to eating disorders and post-high school adjustment. Dr Bakhchi has most recently completed her post doctoral year as the clinical case manager for POPPA (Police Organization Providing Peer Assistance) where she worked with New York City Police Officers.
Bio
Shiphra Bakhchi holds an undergraduate Bachelors degree in pychology from Columbia University, a Masters degree in Education from New York University, and Masters degree and Doctoral degree in psychology from Yeshiva University at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was licensed in New York State in August 2010. Dr Bakhchi received specialized training as a predoctoral intern through her work at the Mental Health Association of Westchester.
