As an Educational Therapist, my specialty is helping folks apply the latest scientific knowledge and brain science to solving problems of learning, enhancing academic excellence, and increasing the joy of peak performance whatever the pursuit. In the past 15 years we have learned that we can change the brain, indeed even make new brain cells, by managing what we put into our brains through our activities and through nutrition.
Sessions at Educational Solutions, in Oak Ridge, mix education, fun and computer assisted learning to assess and address educational and life challenges of individuals ranging from kindergarten through adulthood. Individualized one-on-one interventions are available for learning disabilities, reading disorders, attention deficit disorders, and the academic difficulties of students impacted by physical or mental health issues.
In addition we offer strategies for those wishing to maximize mental performance in learning and life or to prepare for tests such as the ACT or SAT.
