We Will Work Collaboratively to Individualize Your Treatment
Wendy N. Stapen, Ph.D.
Our work together will be a collaborative process to discover and understand symptoms or problems that threaten to erode individual and family health and well-being. Through this journey together, we will seek ways tailored to you to provide relief, long-term personal growth and heightened emotional knowledge. The insulation against the pain and frustration in certain challenges helps to lead to greater satisfaction in all aspects of life; in work, love, family and play, enriching relationships and providing a rediscovery of natural energy, gifts and talents.
I offer couples and family therapy and parent counseling to provide insight and perspectives for special needs and stressful situations. I work with family members to identify and appropriately express causes of their acting out and anger. It is crucial to understand the significance of factors common to most blended families for succssful blending.

Bio
After working for many years in the mental health field, I pursued my Ph.D. in Professional Psychology. I continually attend specialization training and continuing education credits to keep abreast of the latest innovations in the field and to meet the needs of my clients.
In addition to my training and experience as a psychologist, I have additional experience in career counseling and community and public education. This knowledge and exposure allows me to provide my clients with additional understanding in areas that may be creating particular issues.
