Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.

As a counselor, I am extremely passionate about building rapport and collaborating with clients to create an environment of acceptance, safety, and support. I assist and empower clients to create goals that can be integrated into their daily lives and believe compassion, understanding, and trust are key factors throughout the entire therapeutic process. I strive to meet clients where they are and help clarify which areas they would like to improve. While therapy can be overwhelming at times, my main goal is to provide clients with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout their therapeutic journey. I encourage self-care and personal growth for each client to become the best version of him/herself.
Treatment Preferences: CBT, Client-Centered, Play Therapy, Narrative and Mindfulness
I obtained my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Governors State University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology at Illinois State University. I have direct clinical experience working with children with intellectual disabilities, individuals experiencing domestic violence, and community mental health. My experience includes a variety of ages, as well as a wide spectrum of mental health issues. While I prefer to modify my counseling experience to each client’s individualized needs, I typically integrate client-centered, CBT, mindfulness, and play therapy.
In my life outside of work, I spend a majority of my time with family, friends, and my dog. I also enjoy traveling, aerial yoga, and DIY home renovations.
