Portrait Health Centers
Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.

Education and Experience: Brittany understands that therapy can be anxiety provoking and sometimes a scary process, but making that first appointment is half the battle. She uses an empathic, genuine, and down-to-earth approach to create a safe, open, and non-judgemental environment that allows each person to identify and develop their own path in achieving their goals. This involves creating a therapist-client relationship that is built upon trust and respect. Her warmth and sense of humor allow clients to feel relaxed and have the freedom to be who they are. Brittany believes that each individual has their own unique story, thus, tailors her approach to meet each client’s goals and personality by utilizing a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Insight Oriented and Family Systems, among others.

Brittany has been involved in competitive athletics beginning at a young age. Her love of sports and being part of a team inspired her to further her athletic career by becoming a collegiate athlete playing softball at Benedictine University. During her stay, Brittany not only received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts, but also her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling. While completing her Master’s Brittany continued working with the softball team as Assistant Coach. Brittany has a passion to not only work with Couples and Families, but also athletes of all ages who may be struggling with the pressures of being a student-athlete.
