Trust, safety, and collaboration are important factors in building upon a strong therapeutic relationship. I encourage and assist clients to manage their lives and stressors in order to create long-term change. As a counselor, I view a client non-judgmentally, empathetically, and holistically. I utilize multiple approaches, to work with each client based upon their individual needs, including Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Art or Expressive Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Then I received my Masters Degree in Counseling, from Montclair State University, where I focused on Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), I have had the opportunity to work in an outpatient facility, working with a variety of populations. I have gained experience working with adolescents and adults from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time listening to music, hiking, eating at a variety of breakfast restaurants and spending time with those close to me.
