Accessible, Affordable, & Comprehensive Psychotherapy
Serving Adults, Couples, Children, Adolescents, & Families
Starting or returning to therapy takes courage & getting there is sometimes part of the battle. It's challenging to be really honest with yourself, let alone with someone else. I'm sensitive to this. I'm also very interested in helping you to get some relief and find sustainable change. I want you to uncover a way to be in the world that is authentic, honest, conscious, and fulfilling. I work with Adults, Children, & Adolescents in my practice. I offer a free phone consultation to determine if we should meet in person. Sessions are 50 minutes long. I always encourage people that I work with to come in at least once per week to start. This arrangement seems to work best with the psychotherapy that I offer. We can discuss other options as time goes on and as we assess your needs.

Bio
I have over seven years of experience practicing as a psychotherapist. I am licensed in California as Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC51116). I graduated from New College of CA with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I am a graduate of the Advanced Post-Graduate Training Program at The Psychotherapy Institute, where I worked with Adults & Couples. I have also trained extensively in intensive, residential environments & outpatient settings that serve children, adolescents, & their families. I am experienced in working with children who suffer from severe mental health issues/developmental struggles and youth within the foster care system. I am acutely familiar with IEP language/process, services available to children, and the frustrations associated with getting treatment for kids. I am accustomed to collaboration with other providers while protecting the integrity of the therapeutic relationship as much as possible. I regularly provide consultation to educational settings.
My style is warm, interactive, and engaging. I am collaborative and interested in the changes that you envision in your life. We will dialogue about how these fit into treatment. Keep in mind that when I say “you” this could also mean you and your partner, family, and/or child. I offer treatment from a psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theoretical orientations.
