Portrait Health Centers
Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.

My philosophy as a social worker is to create an environment where every person feels welcomed in a non-judgmental space where clients can heal and grow at their own pace. I work with each client building a strong therapeutic alliance utilizing rapport building and empathetic dialogue while developing a unique therapeutic plan for each person that is shaped by the client’s own personal story, needs, and goals. Within this framework and within an environment of compassion and patience, I strive to make sure each client feels heard, valued, respected, and that we act as joint participants in the client’s therapeutic journey. I’m passionate about people and creating a safe environment where the client feels warm and welcomed.

I help facilitate change using a wide variety of therapeutic techniques based on what the client needs which include but are not limited to: Person-Centered therapy, Mindfulness therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Art therapy, and Somatic therapy.

I received both my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. I grew up in Ada County and have loved exploring Idaho’s beauty through the great outdoors. I love to be creative through art and if that is something you enjoy as well, that can be incorporated into therapy sessions! I also enjoy traveling, baking, spending time with my friends and family, and striving to live a healthy lifestyle.
