Therapy takes courage and I understand how difficult it can be to pick up the phone or email, to take that first step.
I help people by working in a humanistic, relational way. The important thing is the affinity that can be developed. Together, we work to see what may be possible, what the options are when talking about whatever is causing you distress.
I deal with all kinds of concern, including relationship issues, offering couples counselling for affairs, a sense of betrayal, divorce, separation, sexual or emotional abuse. Other concerns that clients bring include depression, stress, alcoholism, bereavement, obsessive behaviours, feelings of aloneness, inability to connect, workplace concerns, redundancy, or a feeling of being stuck or blocked and thus wanting to see how that might be addressed.
My garden studio offers clients the chance to talk in a peaceful setting. I am a former lawyer, journalist and business consultant. Clients say they value talking to someone with experience in other walks of life.
Whatever is troubling you, I help you feel at ease so you can explore what you need to talk about in confidence at your own pace.
Sessions may be solutions orientated with an agreed number of them, usually about 12, or what you bring may be something that warrants longer term work and will therefore be more open ended.

Bio
Age 54. Formerly a successful lawyer in London, I have also worked as a journalist, in marketing, and as a business consultant. Clients tell me they value those other perspectives.
