Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.
Specialties: Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Substance and Alcohol Addictions, Behavioral Issues, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Individual, and Family Therapy, Codependency, Divorce, Marital and Premarital, Coping Skills, Life Coaching, Peer Relationships, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Self-Harming, Suicidal Ideation, Family Conflict, Obsessive-Compulsive, Oppositional Defiance, Parenting, Domestic Violence, Trauma, Sexual Abuse, ADHD, Anger Management

I have a passion for helping others learn that their past does not define who they are today or who they will be tomorrow. I believe that change and rehabilitation may seem impossible to many, yet both are possible when they are really wanted. I understand how life and environments can become a routine, a pattern, and sometimes an unhealthy cycle. My goal is to help you break this repetition by rediscovering your strengths, values, and core beliefs. I have experience working with individuals, families, children and adolescents and have done group counseling and rehabilitation for reducing adult offender recidivism. I use several different techniques including Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

I am licensed by the state of Texas as a professional counselor. I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from Kaplan University and a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University. I have worked in mental health clinics such as inpatient and outpatient, university counseling centers, court mandated counseling centers, and private practice.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, reading, playing tennis, traveling, and eating out and trying new places.
