Bio: |
I was born in Riverdale, GA, and was raised in Forest Park, GA. I graduated with honors from Forest Park High School in 1999. I attend the University of GA, Athens, where I studied child and family development and earned my bachelor's degree in 2003. During this time, I became interested in becoming a therapist and began interning with the Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic on campus, as well as the Families 4 Change Program, which provided group counseling and psychoeducational services to teens who were first offenders in the legal system and their families. I went on to attend the Marriage and Family Therapy Master's program at Valdosta State University, where I spent one year of the program providing therapy under supervision. During my Master's program, I interned at several agencies, including a local mental health agency, a homeless shelter, and the campus clinic. Upon completing my Master's degree, I moved to Forsyth, GA. Since graduating, I have worked for various agencies, including Phoenix Center CSB, GRN CSB, and Morningstar CFS. I currently work at Family Counseling Center of Central GA in Macon, as well as in my private practice in Forsyth. |
