Practice Information

I trained at The Bowlby Centre in London and am registered with the UKCP. My speciality is with attachment disorders, childhood trauma, dissociation, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, depression, anxiety and other forms of mental distress. I offer a kind and supportive environment for people to explore their problems safely. I have taught at The Bowlby Centre and have chaired their Clinical Forum for three years.

I went to a girls' grammar school and then studied History & English at university before qualifying as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.

Bio:

I have been married for 37 years and have two sons, aged 34 and 32, and one grandson aged 2. I looked after my elderly father at home for three years after my mother died and also my elder sister, who suffered from early-onset Alzheimer's Disease. I do promotional work for the Alzheimer's Society in the UK and have worked as a Samaritan. I like to write and enjoy the theatre, cinema, music and reading.
