Practice Information
Hello, my name is Bill Wilder. I am passionate about helping men find internal transformation through fostering a respectful and loving way of relating to their problems. If you are ready to be inspired, encouraged, challenged and supported as you learn to stop reliving the same life script and begin reaching your goals and greatness. You will learn tangible skills to relate to yourself in a loving, balanced, and respectful manner. I have been extensively trained in the Internal Family Systems model which is one of the most innovative modalities for healing and bringing substantial changes to your internal world. As you begin to find internal confidence, you can begin to manifest those traits in all aspects of your life: socially, personally, and in the business world.

I offer both individual Counseling/Consultation, 3 month group experiences and weekend workshops on various topics.

The Wilder Experience is not for everyone but it might be for you if:

You are ready to explore and identify what is longing to be released in your internal world so you can advance to the next level in your growth and development.
You are seeking growth and healing alone and are ready to go on a journey of personal growth either individually or in a transformative group experience.

Bio:
Bill Wilder is an inspiring and courageous man who grew up in the rolling hills of Tennessee where he spent the first portion of his life. Bill was introduced to a revolutionary psychotherapy model and healing practice called Internal Family Systems (IFS). As he applied the principles of the teachings to his own life, Bill began to heal and trust his own intuition and inner voice. Over the years, he decided to stop allowing his desire and purpose in life to be contained in a structured paradigm that no longer resonated with his experience.
IFS taught Bill that he has a “True Self” that could be trusted to help him tap into an amazing wealth of internal leadership skills, order, and stability. During his healing process, he learned not to only look for answers outside of himself, but to focus his attention inward. Bill began to release the burdens and beliefs that were holding him back. Ultimately, by connecting with his deeper purpose, he gained the courage to leave the conservative Christian culture and begin a new journey into the mystery of life.
Bill receive a Masters of Divinity and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy degrees from Reformed Seminary. Continuing to explore the IFS model, Bill finished Levels 1 and 2 of the course training through the Center for Self Leadership under the tutelage of the model’s founder, Richard Schwartz. He would go on to complete a couple years of consulting and study under Schwartz’s direction. Bill now has over 10 years of experience working with individuals and groups and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado.
One of Bill’s greatest assets is that he is relentlessly committed to doing his own healing work. He firmly believes he can take others only as far as he has gone in his own healing process. For the last five years, Bill has created and led healing circles for men and women in diverse settings and has a deep sense of empathy for those who have not released their full leadership capabilities. He is accomplished at bringing together polarized communities of people to find common ground and transcend to the next level of growth and connection. Additionally, Bill is a nationally recognized speaker on the relationship between Internal Family Systems and Spirituality and Diverse Group Dynamics. Bill is married and lives in Boulder, CO with his beautiful and creative wife. Bill loves the outdoors, traveling, movies and sees life as an adventure waiting to unfold.
