Brittany Olsen, MA, MFT is a licensed psychotherapist offering counseling and therapy for adult individuals and couples. She specializes in relationships, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-esteem/identity, and the general difficulties that one may experience from major and minor life transitions. Brittany counsels couples in all phases of the relationship – from pre-marital counseling to marital challenges (communication, infidelity, negative relational patterns) to the uncoupling process.

Brittany has had great success in helping her clients, mainly by fostering a supportive yet challenging therapeutic environment. Her approach is strength-based, solution-focused, and pragmatic. She believes that her clients ultimately know what is best for them, and it is her job to facilitate improvement through a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic forum.

Brittany generally employ a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) orientation. This focus entails identifying those faulty thinking patterns that are skewing one’s view of the world and contributing to one’s distress and life difficulties.
