Hi, I'm Bushra. I work primarily with Queer and BI/POC folks to navigate feelings of anxiety, grief, loneliness, guilt or shame. I also work with clients who are struggling with vulnerability in relationships, wanting to learn from attachment and trauma experiences, or just looking for a space to process emotions. I specialize in working with anxiety and depression as well as religious and attached-based trauma stemming from familial history. I center my therapeutic approach beyond the boundaries of a Eurocentric lens. I know that when you reach out for support, your main focus is receiving the help that you need. That is why I strive to provide a space where you can feel understood without having to over-explain your identity, your culture, or other parts of what make you, you. I believe that therapy can be one of many ways to heal from and disrupt generational patterns of harm and violence and would be honored to join you in that process.
