Practice Information

I have focused the majority of my clinical career helping clients break the destructive, reactionary patterns of anger, to provide relief, and hope, for growth and change. I show clients healthy ways to voice their needs and wants and how to heal from past pain. I believe that given the safety of the therapeutic process, clients will emerge, and show their authentic selves’. It is through this process where couples learn to validate the others experience and truly hear one another’s needs and wants. Restored connection comes from becoming present: leaving the past behind and removing conditions of the future. Once clients can connect in this way, they use their own inherent strengths to make the changes they need. They become compassionate and responsive to the other. Not all couples are able to repair the damage caused by years of fighting and hurting one another. Sometimes the fear of being alone can keep couples stuck. Sometimes it is children that keep couples stuck. Sometimes the decision is made to separate, and divorce, but they are unable to do so in a constructive way. I help couples to move forward, toward separation/ divorce, in a very clear, conscious way.
