Heartland Counseling Center specializes in marriage counseling, couples counseling, and individual anxiety counseling, anger management counseling, depression counseling, and grief counseling. We also have several trained Trauma Counselors who can help clients struggling with PTSD or other types of past trauma or abuse. Heartland Counseling Center has a staff of 7 licensed professional counselors who each specialize in working with diverse groups. Our counselors can help you put your life back on the right track!
Heartland Counseling Center counselors are in-network with most major insurance companies, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthLink, UHC, UMR, Cigna, and TriCare. That means you get the full benefits of the medical insurance you are already paying for. If you do not have insurance coverage (or just don't want to use it), Heartland Counseling Center offers an affordable private pay scale.
At Heartland Counseling Center, our counselors use Evidence-Based Treatments whenever possible. Evidence-Based Treatments are those that have been researched and proven to be most effective in treating certain problems. What does that mean for you? That means that you'll get the best results in the shortest amount of time possible, getting you back to the life you deserve to live quickly!

| Heartland Counseling Center was founded in 2013 to provide people in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois an alternative to the traditional counseling practices in our area. Heartland Counseling Center is a Group Private Practice. That means we're big enough to have a diverse group of counselors working for us, which means you're more likely to find the best fit for your counseling needs. We're also NOT a community agency, so we're not limited by the red tape you find at local community agencies. And we're not sterile like community agencies. Our clients comment that sitting in our counseling rooms is like being in their own living rooms! |
