As a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist I strive to adapt each session to the needs of each individual... their own specific needs and desired outcomes. Trained in many different modalities, e.g. Cognitive Behavior, Bowen, Jung, etc. , I draw from theorists that I feel will accomplish the task of what is needed for the individual or couple. It seems rare to me that use of only one theory is the only way to achieve results. I have been a Registered Nurse for over twenty years and feel that the medical knowledge I have achieved compliments the Psychological knowledge that I have gained through training and through my practice. Life experiences play such an important role in our dealing with others. To know and understand what others haved endured or are currently enduring is very empowering. I know what it feels like to experience problems with children, relationships, families, careers...and therefore can share with others the trials they are experiencing. The good thing is that with proper counseling, empathy and caring, things do work out...what ever the result are. Time and working through those areas that hinder our wel-lbeing with a counselor who will give guidance and support are important ways to overcome problems.

PSYCHOLOGY: I am a graduate of Pepperdine Univesity with a Masters in Psychology I am a graduate of Trinity Graduate Studies Institute with a Masters in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling I am a graduate of American Behavioral Studies Institute with a Doctorate in Psychology NURSING: I am also a graduate of Chapman University with a Associate of Science in Nursing degree I am also a graduate of Long Beach State University with a Masters in Nursing I am also was in the Masters in Nursing at Long Beach State University
