All of us run into life struggles at some point in time. Sharing the challenge with someone else can be the difference that makes the difference. With ample opportunity to talk about all that’s bothering you, we can also focus on possible solutions or ways to manage the situation. Though the atmosphere is friendly, and it times it may feel like you’re talking with an understanding friend, the difference is that the focus is on your concerns. You never need to worry about the kind of impact this discussion will have on me, as your therapist, or how it will affect our relationship. Two decades of experience have provided me with plenty of opportunity to make sure you understand that your concerns are valid and there is a way to make sense of your situation, while finding hope for a better tomorrow.
Relationships are one of the greatest gifts and greatest challenges of the human experience. Having earned a PhD in Marriage and Family therapy, my specialty is working with relationships. This is not limited to couples, but also to parent/child relationships and work relationships. Because we are all social creatures relationships affect us in many ways, and the challenges they present are sometimes overwhelming. As a therapist, I can work with individuals, couples, families and organizations to inspire hope and develop solutions. This is my passion and I am very fortunate to get to share it with others.
When meeting with my clients, it is essential that I have an understanding of what they want from the process. As a psychotherapist trained in a wide range of treatment styles, I tailor my approach to the unique circumstances of each individual client and case. I adapt my methods to you. It is a highly personalized process and more than you can ever get from reading the best of books that are designed to appeal to broad population or problem. Armed with years of education and decades of experience, I am here to provide the support and understanding necessary for you to discover the next steps in your journey.
In my home-based office, you will have the opportunity to be in a relaxed and private environment. Generally, I reserve 90 minutes for sessions - double what most therapists offer. For your convenience, I am also available for appointments in your home or office if coming to West Boca Raton does not work for you. |
