If you are reading this, you may very well be suffering and in need of support to live your life with less dread and more joy, less doubt and greater assurance, less anger and more self-control. If you are seeking services, you are already moving in the right direction by identifying the intent and developing the motivation needed to affect desired changes. A plethora of support services exist, and if you can receive the help you need from less-intensive and/or less-expensive sources, I encourage you to do so. Thankfully there are many self-help groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Gamblers Anonymous, as well as the National Alliance on Mental Illness that can offer great support on the road to recovery. In fact, if you retain my services, I would most likely suggest that you and your family increase and refine your connections to the community, church, and support groups that promote positive growth and well being.
Change is not only possible, it is inevitable. Too often we live our lives as though we are permanently enslaved and predestined to be wasted in self-inflicted pain. Most people have moments of clarity in which they understand and appreciate the ability to willfully change the causes and conditions of their lives, but sadly they are caught up in circumstances and surrounded by people who are deeply invested in the familiarity of suffering. As such, opportunities for change are unfulfilled |

Bio: |
Most people love what they are good at and are good at what they love. I love being a therapist. I have been professionally involved in psychology for 25 years, and it remains without doubt one of my principal passions. When I look into my heart and grasp what has mattered most in my life, I have a deep sense of gratitude for the people I’ve helped. I chose psychology as a profession not only because it matches my temperament but also because it’s a profession that can be developed over a lifetime and improved with age and experience. I thank those who have given me their trust, faith, wisdom and strength, which in turn has allowed me to become the therapist I am today. I have sincerely sought teachings inside and outside of my profession to best serve those who seek spiritual and psychological services and support.
I attained a Marriage and Family Therapist license because I believe we are most appreciated and best understood by virtue of our families and interpersonal relationships. I have witnessed great travesties as well as personal tragedies, and I have consoled horrible suffering. But above and beyond all this, I have participated in miracles. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and the incredible power of the human mind.
