Specializing in helping clients with a history of truama or abuse. I ues a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate approach to counseling. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy as an effective way to work with all of the client's parts. Sometimes, healing requires going deep into vulnerable parts, and IFS provides a safe, supportive way to do this work.

Education
I have practiced in California and am currintly parcticing in Maine. Received my Masters in Psychology with a Clinical Emphasis from San Francisco State University. Practiced as a School Psychologist for 17 years. Practiced family counseling with an agency for four years, and I have been in private practice for eight years. I am certified as an IFS Therapist, and have completed Levels I, II and III in IFS Therapy.
Bio
I have found Internal Family Systems Therapy to be a very powerful means of helping clients meet their goals. Interests/disciplines I enjoy are Vipassana meditation, Tai Chi Chuan, playing guitar, and biking.
