When life gives you lemons ... what do you do? We don't always choose our life circumstances, but we CAN choose what to do with them.
Relationships are complex. Even if you were not previously married and have no kids, each of you still brings a LOT of other people with you -- your parents, siblings, previous dates, friends, grandparents, sometimes even media stars -- that create a VERY crowded room! Add to that any individual stress, anxiety, medical condition, life transition, eating disorder, or addiction and it is a miracle you have gotten as far as you have intact!
I will help you understand what is causing your relationship problems and what to do to fix them. You will learn Emotionally Intelligent Communication that can improve all your personal and work relationships. I sometimes conduct sessions that are not framed by the clock, working with individuals or couples until a natural stopping point. This flexible scheduling allows for resolution and re-direction in a more time-friendly manner. I help couples learn to value and appreciate the differences that have been driving them apart, and to regain the loving feelings that brought them together. I help those with a medical condition deal with the anger, depression, frustration, and other feelings that are associated with illness, and I also provide a safe place for their family members or significant others to deal with their own feelings and concerns.
Whatever sadness, despair or challenge you face, it is my honor to help you come to terms with your issues and make life-affirming choices to bring you more joy and contentment, transforming life's lemons into something sweet. |
