Practice Information

I am licensed clinical social worker/psychotherapist with over twenty five years providing mental health services. In addition I am Board Certified Professional Counselor with Diplomatic status. You have found an empathetic and supportive therapist. I work with children, adolescents, adults who have a variety of mental health issues. Such as depression, anxiety, work related stress and various forms of traumatic issues. I provided individual, family and group counseling services. I utilize the following clinical approaches Cognitive Behavioral techniques, family systems and problem solving to help client deal with their issues. I help individuals who are experiencing feelings of loss and hopeless to embark a new journey to discover the individual within their self. I strongly believe the therapeutic process can promote mental health growth and healing. It requires a willing individual to work to the core of the source of the mental anguish. I informed my clients it’s like peeling an onion the more layers you reveal the closer one becomes aware the source of their distress. This allows the individual to develop the necessary tools to deal with the stress in one daily life. My offices are located in the south Bronx on Tremont Ave, serving (Tremont section, Parkchester, Grand Concourse and Fordham Road) and the Coop City office (Coop City, Throgs Neck, Mount Vernon, Boston Road and Wakefield section. Both offices are accessible to Mass Transit.
