A Personal Note from Dr. Lynne . . . The love of people called me into this profession. I've had the privilege of working with thousands of individuals, and hope to provide you with the best professional services available. I am committed to advancing my clinical education and knowledge in the expanding field of mental health.
My compassion and empathy for those who suffer emotionally, combined with my clinical experience are what I hope will make a difference in the quality of your life.
I have had the unique opportunity to work in the entertainment industry, having over 200 local and national talk show appearances, speaking on depression, anxiety, family relationships, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I created and hosted the Los Angeles based television talk show "A Slice of Life", focusing on psychological, family and relationship issues. In addition, I hosted a call-in radio talk show discussing important issues such as self esteem, relationships, eating disorders, codependency, intimacy, love, addictions, how to forgive, guilt, depression, anger, anxiety and parenting.
A member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team, I was most recently deployed to the Hurricane Katrina disaster area. DMAT is a group of medical and professional personnel designed to be a rapid response team to supplement local medical care during disasters until Federal or other resources arrive on the scene. |
