Practice Information

My practice specializes in couples/relationship issues and in the treatment of trauma. Whether your relationship is conflictual or you are experiencing distance from your partner, I can help. Over the years, I have treated adults with many kinds of issues, including depression, anxiety, phobias, and eating disorders. My passion is helping people with relationship issues. When you are happy in your primary relationship, you experience a greater sense of well-being. Often times, when there is trouble in a relationship, it stems from past traumatic experiences. As an expert in the treatment of trauma, I can help you heal from some of your earlier disturbing experiences in your family of origin that can be affecting your current relationship. I can also teach you the skills for successful communication and problem-solving to help you build a long-term, intimate, passionate relationship now. Born in Stockholm, Sweden and having lived in New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, Jerusalem, and New Jersey, I have a broad spectrum of experience through which to understand your issues. In addition to 3 masters degrees and multiple certifications, I love to continue learning different skills to add to my repertoire. I have been married for 42 years. I have two adopted children, a son who is 30 and a daughter who is 26. I am active in my synagogue and in my community.
