BODY WORKS, Inc.
1230 North Avenue Suite 7
Body Works Inc. was founded as Weber Chiropractic in 1990 by Dr. Michael D. Weber, DC, ART in the Lead/Deadwood area. There the practice stayed for five years, acquiring some of our present patients. In 1995, the practice moved to Spearfish where it has had great success in improving the lives of many patients. Still, Dr. Weber was unsatisfied because of the number of cases not responding to traditional chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage, or other types of medical care.

In 2002 he discovered Active Release Techniques, ART, a medically patented technique developed by Dr. Michael Leahy. Dr. Weber was amazed at the ART treatment he personally received which immediately resolved his chronic shoulder, knee, and ankle problems that had responded minimally to other types of care. Dr. Weber states, "ART gave me my life back." I got my "game" back, I began running, cycling, swimming, etc.. I give all of the credit to ART." ART has since become very popular to many US Olympic athletes. Many pro and college sports teams have an ART provider working on their athletes on the sidelines during games. This is now Dr. Weber’s eighth year practicing ART.

In 2008 Dr. Weber discovered the PRO Adjuster and its technologies, often referred to as "Smart Chiropractic" because of its use of computer technology developed by NASA subcontractors. This device delivered a type of chiropractic treatment that was excellent for patients who are unable to tolerate or handle the twisting, turning, or "cracking" of the joints. We are currently combining the use of ART and the PRO Adjuster along with other types of treatments and are having amazing results.

Bio:
Dr. Michael D. Weber, ART has been practicing Chiropractic care for over 20 years. Dr. Weber attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic, AKA Northwestern Health Sciences University, from 1986-1990, where he received his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic.

After graduating, Dr. Weber opened Lead Chiropractic Clinic in 1990 where he was the sole chiropractic physician in the clinic. In 1995 he changed locations and moved to Spearfish, SD. There he opened Weber Chiropractic, PC, more recently known as Body Works Inc… Dr. Weber is still seeing many of his patients from Lead/Deadwood and has acquired many more patients in and outside of the surrounding area.

Dr. Weber treats patients suffering from all types of conditions. Patients with crippling disabilities have come in with little or no hope and after receiving treatment have realized great improvement and progress in their conditions. Some of the conditions Dr. Weber is known for treating are chronic neck pain, headaches, plantar fasciitis, shoulder pain, chronic lower back pain, loss of range of motion, stiffness, tightness, and many more.

Many of his patients cannot find relief anywhere else. Dr. Weber receives referrals from doctors in the medical field that cannot help their patients. He sees patients from out of state that have to drive many hours to receive a treatment, returning home the same day.

In 2002 Dr. Weber studied and trained with Dr. Michael Leahy the developer of Active Release Techniques, ART. ART is a medically patented soft-tissue technique used to treat conditions associated with scar tissue adhesions, nerve entrapments, and muscles, tendons, and ligaments. As an ART provider,
