I am happily married for over thirty years (my wife is also a therapist) and have extensive experience helping couples (married or unmarried, engaged, in second and third marriages, living together, straight or gay) solve relationship problems. I am a former editor to the Ladies Home Journal column "Can This Marriage be Saved?" and the author of three books on marriage,Caring Couples, The Marriage Spirit and Are You Roommates or Soul Mates?. I studied with the first marriage counselors in America, David and Vera Mace.
