Practice Information
Being in a committed relationship with another human being is a richly complex experience that includes unique challenges. Close relationships provide us with companionship, comfort, and joy. However, excess stress and inadequate nourishment often leads to a crisis in connection
For over 20 years, I've been helping individuals and couples 1) heal old emotional wounds; 2) identify and challenge their negative patterns of relating; 3) discover renewed intimacy.
I believe in the process of therapeutic dialogue as a method for promoting mutual understanding and respect and solving problems. My clients tell me that as a result of our work they feel "like 'we're now on the same team," are they feel 'closer emotionally,' and find that they're enjoying each other again physically.
If you are feeling unhappy, struggling with a problem, in crisis, or want more fulfillment in your life, please consider my services. To schedule a consultation, you can reach me or my confidential voicemail.
Office hours: Monday through Thursday, day and evening hours.
Office policy: 24 hours cancellation notice.

Bio:
My approach is based on gestalt therapy theory, developmental theory, and mindfulness. The emphasis of the therapy is collaborative in nature, based on experience in the here and now, and with a profound respect for each individual's experience.
Throughout life we, naturally, experience joy and suffering. I believe that when we face, and work through the problems of our lives, we reduce unnecessary suffering, strengthen resilience, and become more able to create full and satisfying lives.
