I have an eclectic practice, using Acupuncture and massage techniques, which are determined, specifically for each person, individually. I have been able to help people who are in pain, who have had injuries, or have headaches, problems with their hearing, ear infections, people who can't sleep, who have digestive problems to even depression and for those who just need help with chronic problems.
I also work with my husband, Doug Tessler, who offers live healing music; Together, we offer Qi Gong workshops and help people, in groups and "One on One".
I look at each person's diet and their surroundings.
I usually go to people's homes, as I work with the "Alpha-Stim", which helps your own body, produce extra encephalons and endorphins, which can change your body chemistry, significantly. ~ Because of this change, I feel that people, after a treatment, should be able to relax and not have to drive anywhere, afterwards. So, I come to you. Tho, I do also practice, out of a few offices, and can offer an office location, as well, to patients.
I especially like helping the elderly. I have worked with people who have Parkinsons and have helped reduce their shaking. I've worked with people, with health challenges ranging from back pain, to depression and insomnia, to even just foot pain, like plantar fascitis. I have also helped women with menopausal symptoms thru acupuncture.
Also, due to the FOUR things, that United Health Care, will now pay for - I would like to share their list for comedic relief ~ As, United Health Care's list, only covers these four things ~ Yes, it is quite funny and almost entertaining .. to share, that United Health Care Insurance, will now cover and accept, and pay Acupuncture Physicians to treat only 4 things ! and the envelope - please ;

- Most importantly, United Health Care will NOW - pay for NOT only post surgical pain, - due to Dental surgery ! ~ BUT - Now, I have to update this as United Health Care will now - also let you call an Acupuncture Physician and cover treatment, for Low Back pain ! Tho, I will assure you, that Acupuncture has helped many people around the world, for hundreds of years, United Health Care is so far only recognizing the effects that Acupuncture can have on Low Back pain and will NOT cover Acupuncture treatments, for much of any other kind pain, besides dental pain after or due to post surgical pain.
However, I will point out, that I have helped a lot of people who have had post surgical pain from Dental surgery, so I will agree that Acupuncture can help and has helped many people with dental pain !
I also have helped people with the other three other things, that United Health Care, is willing to offer to pay Acupuncture, for ;
1 - Nausea and vomiting from post surgery
2 - Nausea and vomiting from pregnancy
and
3 - Nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy,
~ I also teach people, about the health benefits of a healthy diet and how to prepare raw foods ~
Plus .... I also teach about Qi Gong
&
teach people, about How to use essential oils and How to make your water safe to drink, without floride.

I received my initial acupuncture training, before there were schools in Florida. I have continued to take courses on a regular basis, after receiving my certificate from The Traditional Institute of Chinese Medicine in Sante Fe, New Mexico, after I passed the second Florida exam and received my license in 1982.
Since then, I was very involved with creating Acupuncture Education Day, in Tallahassee and being involved with State legislation for the Florida State Oriental Medical Association, serving as President, Vice President, Secretary and head of several committees, through the years.
I also enjoy working with my husband, the amazing Doug Tessler, creating for groups in hospitals, addiction centers and senior citizen facilities sessions that can present healing breathing techniques, Qi Gong exercises, guided meditations and music therapy sessions. Sharing the health benefits of these healing modalities has helped many people.
I also work with Doug producing videos - for Network television and cable stations and the internet. We can also help with marketing, products, events and People's businesses, through Social network marketing strategies, producing videos and Multi-Media marketing tools. |

I have been in Practice since 1982, studying in China, California, New York, and still studying, everyday ways to help people be healthy.
I feel blessed with what I have learned, so far.
- My license # is 00036 in Florida and I've been practicing since 1982 - a combination of Acupuncture & Massage.
I offer Acupuncture, with or without needles, Electro-Acupuncture, Shiatsu & Tuina, which
are forms of massage, along with Thai Vedic massage, Polarity sessions, Reiki and Alpha-Stim therapy.
~ Alpha-Stim therapy is a truly remarkable state of the art, technological breakthrough therapy.
~ Alpha-Stim therapy is a non evasive system, that can help people immediately access their own
naturally occurring endorphins and encephalons. Through a special breathing technique,
I can easily teach you, I can make it possible for people to retrain their autonomic nervous systems to deal with insomnia, migraine headaches, traumatic injuries, anxiety and pain.
I've studied with the blind monks from Japan, who don't always necessarily, insert needles and Five Element Theory, studied with Dr. Ralph Alan Dale and helped him write his book, on the Comprehensive Effects of Acupuncture.
I also studied with Dr. Michael Zeng, Founder of the Traditional Institute of Chinese Medicine in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
Plus, I continue to take seminars and try to be on the cutting edge of new information and technology, using ancient techniques, such as needling and modern devices, like the Alpha-Stim and Stim-Plus, with massage techniques, as patient's individual needs, may indicate.
I also offer to groups, at hospitals, addiction centers and senior citizen facilities - training in healing breathing techniques, Qi Gong and music therapy sessions, with my husband, Doug Tessler. Doug Tessler. is a professional musician. Together, he & i, play music and present techniques that can help people feel peaceful. We teach people techniques that can help them, learn how to treat their own insomnia and other health challenges, in group sessions.
I have a special Angel Harp, which produces solfeggio tones and I combine the healing tones with Doug's music. He is an accomplished multi instrumentalist and he plays the flutes, saxophones, the shakahachi, the didgeradoo and keyboards. |
