As an educational advocate, I help parents navigate the special education system. This includes advising and helping parents obtain appropriate classroom and school placements and ancillary services such as speech, occupational and physical therapies and augmentative communication services. I also attend IEP meetings, mediation and hearing. I can interpret clinical evaluations for parents.I am trained as a parent consultant through the Federation for Children with Special Needs and as an educational advocate through Wright’s Law Boot Camp.

As a speech-language pathology I evaluate and treat children, adolescents and adults within a highly supportive and attentive environment. I offer evaluations and treatment options to individuals with a wide range of communication disorders. my goal is to maximize the potential of each and every client with whom I work. In order to do this I believe in an integrative approach that involves collaboration with parents, caretakers, educational teams and medical providers. Therapy is tailored to the individual needs of each client.

Specialty areas evaluated and treated include articulation/phonological disorders, language based learning disabilities, auditory processing disorders, oral motor/feeding disorders, craniofacial disorders, pediatric and adult language/cognitive disorders, phonological awareness development, reading and writing disorders, stuttering, myofunctional therapy (i.e., tongue thrust), voice disorders and autism spectrum disorders which includes autism, pervasive developmental disorder and Aspergers (both pediatric and adult).
