Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy is a physical therapist-owned and -operated orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation physical therapy clinic. We have been serving the communities of Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Sacramento, Antelope, and Roseville for over 30 years, building and maintaining an excellent reputation in the medical community.

We specialize in the evaluation and treatment of all orthopedic and sports dysfunctions. Our physical therapists are licensed by the state of California and are members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Our full-time clinicians are board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialists (OCS),
certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Our 2500 sq. ft. facility offers private treatment rooms, a large rehabilitation gym, and an onsite indoor aquatic center. Ideal for post-surgical rehabilitation, arthritis, and chronic pain syndromes (fibromyalgia), our pool is handicap accessible and
maintained at 91 degrees.

We are a Medicare-certified facility. We accept Worker's Compensation, private insurance, and motor vehicle insurance as well. We are not contracted with most HMO plans. Reasonable payment options are available for the uninsured. For your convenience, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and debit card transactions.

Our clinic and aquatic rehabilitation hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Evening hours are available. Independent clinical and aquatic programs are available and tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Bio:
Quinn grew up in the Bay Area where he was first exposed to physical therapy over 25 years ago. Following his interests in anatomy and biomechanics, Quinn graduated with high honors from California State University, Hayward in 1991 with his BS in Athletic Training/Clinical Exercise. He received the "Outstanding Student of the Year Award" simultaneously and was accepted into the physical therapy program at California State University, Northridge. Again receiving high honors, he graduated in 1993 with his post-graduate degree in Physical Therapy.

He is licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of California (PT) and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the Orthopedic Section since 1991.

He joined Paul Swanson in 2001 and became a partner of Swanson McArthur Physical Therapy in 2005.

Quinn received board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2007 by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He specializes in orthopedic manual therapy and orthopedic and sports injury rehabilitation.

An advocate of continuing education, Quinn has taken numerous short- and long-term post-graduate courses, focusing on injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, sports-specific training, and advanced manual therapy treatment for the spine and extremities. He is a clinical instructor, mentoring graduate students during clinical internships and educating high school students in the profession of physical therapy. Quinn is also an assistant instructor educating licensed physical therapists in orthopedic manual physical therapy and clinical exercises through long-term post-graduate coursework.

As an endurance athlete, Quinn has completed several marathons and numerous triathlons (including four Ironman -distance triathlons and three 1/2-Ironman triathlons).

Heavily involved in youth athletics, Quinn has involved himself in the community as a Roseville Girl's Softball Coach, a Roseville Youth Soccer Club (RYSC) Coach, and a Roseville Indoor Soccer Coach.

He has provided strength and conditioning training to RYSC Girl's Select Soccer since 2005, Woodcreek High School since 2011, and began working as the Injury Education Program Coordinator for Placer United Soccer Club in 2008.

He spends time with his wife and two children playing, traveling, and supporting all of their endeavors and celebrating all of their achievements
