My mission is to help as many people as I can to get well and stay well by addressing three causes of ill health.
Trauma caused by falls and accidents that occurred in the past, which can cause undetected and long-lasting damage not just to muscles but also to nerves as well. nerves control all functions in the body, and if they are not working properly, neither will your body.
Second, we have stress which everyone experiences in life. Prolonged stress leads to hormone imbalances related to the stress glands of the body known as the adrenal glands. These glands secrete hormones that control sleep,k digestion, weight gain, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, allergies, arthritis, immunity, heart function, fatigue, etc. Theses glands can be checked and if malfunctioning, they can be repaired through diet and supplements.
The third factor in illness is pollution of our water, food, and air. The US rates 48th in Life expctancy. We are on the bottom of the list despite all the drugs we take. there are 82,000 chemicals that can enter your body weekly. To defend against them your body surrounds them in fat. I do laboratory analysis and nutritional consultation as well as head to toe body work. My specialty is the Upper Cervical (Blair Chiropractic) work. I have a DC in Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West 12/99 and licensed 5/2000
My Pre-Med was from UVM and Norwich Universities in Vermont. There, I did work-study for a Neuro-surgical research project out of the Given's Medical Center (1990-91) and O2/CO2 analysis and eqpt manufacturing also (1990-1993).
I have 240 hours in Occupational & Environmental Health and Mgt. (2006)
EMT-B training / First Responder certification(2009)
and a BA in Animal Husbandry (Teaching, Training, and Facility Management). |

At 26 I herniated a disc which left me 100% disabled for 2 months. It took me a year to get back into working horses (my profession). My back "went out" again and I was dismayed to be so young and handicapped. My boss suggested I go to a Chiropractor. I said: " I thought they were quacks"... he said: "I wouldn't be walking if it wasn't for mine." I did go (out of desperation) and in three weeks I was walking better than I had the previous year. I said; "my God I want to do this for people!" I had originally wanted to go to the Olympics and actually came in 5th (My horse was at a Second Training Level) against 2 Olympians, One long listed Olympian and the Area VI President for Combined Training 1985 - but God had a different path for me as the desire to serve through Chiropractic care became a calling despite taking nine years to get through all the schooling.
Raised in Virginia, California has been my home for most of my life.
My body work began as a teenager when people at the stables were always asking me to do body work on them. I then did work on my horses. After shows they showed signs of stress, agitation, soreness, and would turn their backside to me. I found that doing the body work on them lifted their dispositions to joyful welcoming when I would come down to take them out for the daily work out. They were less sore, and happy.
My patients are willing to speak with anyone having concerns over results under my care. My desire is to become a trusted and reliable Doctor in our community of Northern California. |
