Methods and approaches: My personal approach is through the Adlerian therapy, also called individual psychotherapy. I also use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Existential, Culturally Appropriate Therapy, Psychodrama and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Organizational and Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. I also hold a Masters of Arts degree and a Bachelors degree from Varna Free University in Bulgaria. My professional experience includes both individual and group therapy. I practiced as a psychologist and psycho-educator for several years in Bulgaria. I have also worked as a counselor with a very diverse range of college students in the USA. My approach is always related to the personal needs of the client. Outside of work I enjoy gardening and growing my own vegetable. I love listening to music, reading and taking long outdoor walks. I find painting with oil colors highly rewarding. Cooking Bulgarian traditional dishes is another passion of mine. |
