Dr Bronwen Rees has been practising for 7 years as a psychotherapist. She has two practices, one in Cambridge and one in Suffolk. She practices 'core process psychotherapy' which has a Buddhist underpinning. She specialises in trauma, addiction, chronic illness, genre, sexuality, and work-related stress amongst others. She is developing a particular form of therapy that draws on the ancient wisdom traditions, but which is grounded in the findings of modern science. She is also the founder of the East West Sanctuary, Centre of Evolutionary INquiry, inBudapest, HUngary, and regularly runs retreats and workshops in the the UK, Hungary, Thailand.

Dr Rees can draw both on the spiritual, academic and business, and is constantly exploring the relationship between these three areas.

Bio:
Dr Bronwen Rees has worked for many years in publishing before gaining a Ph.d in organisational science from Cranfield School of Management, UK. She became ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Community.

IN 2005 she founded the East West Sanctuary in Budapest, and runs developmental programmes, retreats and seminars from there. She gained her MA in Psychotherapy from the Karuna Institute in Devon which was the first Buddhist run psychotherapy training in the UK.

She is also the Director of the Centre for Transformational Management practice at Anglia Ruskin University, where she specialises in introducing new practices, including 'mindfulness' into organisations, and runs a research team. She has published widely and internationally, and is the founder editor of the journal Interconnections, which is discovering new ways of developing sustainable businesses.
