Practice Information

Cardinal Counselling and Mediation is a full service counselling agency located conveniently in the heart of the Belmont Village area of Kitchener. We have several different counsellors with a range of experience and expertise to meet your needs. We offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments so that we can meet at a time that is convenient for you. We never run a wait list, instead we are able to typically offer same-week appointments. We also offer crisis appointments, so in the event that you can't wait for an appointment, we'll do our best to fit you in. At Cardinal Counselling and Mediation we also offer a wide range of separation and divorce services, from counselling aimed at helping you to decide if separating is right for you, to providing counselling for any children who may be impacted by the change in their living situation, to helping to work out the details of a separation agreement and/or parenting plan. We even have lawyers that we are able to refer you to for independent legal advice. If you are unsure if Cardinal Counselling and Mediation is able to offer a service that would be helpful to you, contact us and we'll talk to you about your individual situation to ensure that any service you access is right for you. All of the counsellors at Cardinal Counselling and Mediation are registered with their professional organizations and governing bodies. Also, we encourage everyone to check with any extended health benefits they may have to see if they are covered for social work services, as the majority of our counsellors have a Master of Social Work degree and are Registered Social Workers (MSW, RSW). You'll know when it is time to call, when it is, we'll be here to help.
