Cheryl Stewart, owner and speech therapist for Hope Rising Speech Therapy & Educational Services has over 20 years experience, the majority of them in the public schools. She believes everyone deserves a voice and a chance to communicate with others. She has served as both a speech therapist and Assistive Technology Specialist, and as such is able to provide both assessments and evaluations to clients, as well as training to families of those with communication disorders. She specializes in AAC, autism, social language and fluency (stuttering). She is currently providing therapy, home training and IEP consultations services to clients in their homes in the Rockwall, Rowlett, and Wylie, TX area.

Cheryl Stewart, M.Ed. CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified speech therapist licensed in the state of TX. Her most recent positions were as a speech therapist for Wylie ISD, as well as a speech therapist and an Assistive Technology Specialist for Rockwall ISD. She received her B.A. in Linguistics from The College of William and Mary in 1996, and her M.Ed. in Communication Disorders from The University of Virginia in 1999.
