Why I became a chiropractor in Frisco, TX
Ever since I was a little kid, I had this intense desire to help people. I knew I wanted to be a doctor but I also knew that I did not want to simply prescribe medications to people every day. So, when someone would ask me as a little kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say a doctor of muscles. Of course, they would laugh since there really isn’t such a thing, and at the time, I didn’t know what chiropractic was. I just kept saying I wanted to be a doctor of muscles. I finally met a chiropractor who sat me down and explained what he learned in school and what he did. I realized for the first time in my life that this was the doctor I wanted to be!
I realized that chiropractic would give me a way to feed my passion for helping people by finding and correcting the underlying cause of what makes them sick or suffer in pain without prescribing drugs or surgery. I had found my calling. I AM a chiropractor. I mean this in the sense that being a Frisco chiropractor is not my job, it is who I am. Ironically, my name Jason means “healer” so I was destined to be in a healing profession from the beginning. |
