Something happens…good or bad…and life as you know, it changes. What you used to be able to handle becomes a struggle. This is when you can look beside you for a partner to support you. My goal for every counseling relationship is a partnership…with us working together to help you achieve your goals. Whether I am working with a child or an adult, I believe that we all bring something valuable and positive to the table. You will be heard. I am most known for my ability to “keep it real” and address matters head on. The focus will be you and your goals. If something is not working, we will try something else. I graduated from Goddard College with a Master's degree in Psychology and Counseling. I have worked with clients of diverse ages and backgrounds in individual, group, and family settings. I have specialized in counseling individuals and families coping with serious illness (dementia, cancer, HIV/AIDS) or at the end of their lives, which led to an additional focus on grief and bereavement. In my downtime, I enjoy walking along the ocean, hanging with my roommates around the fire pit, cheering for my nephews at their football games, and visiting my son in Boston. |
