Jasmine has experience in working with adults, young adults, teens and children with issues concerning anxiety, depression, self esteem, substance abuse, ADHD, adjustment, relationships, grief anger management, dependency, family conflict, abuse, self- harm and suicidal ideation. In addition to working with individuals in career, she facilitated psycho-educational groups that address the aforementioned issues along with parenting and social skills.
Jasmine believes that with life comes challenges, and sometimes we need additional support. Support from someone who is non-judgmental, empathetic and experienced in navigating through life’s challenges. These are the elements that she feels a good therapeutic relationship is built on. Her treatment style is working collaboratively with individuals in gaining an understanding of their perspective of the problem and its development along with establishing realistic goals for therapy. Jasmine feels that one approach does not work for everyone. Because of this she incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strength-Based approaches.
