I work with each client building a strong therapeutic alliance utilizing rapport building and empathetic dialogue while developing a unique therapeutic plan for each person that is shaped by the client’s own personal story, needs, and goals. Within this framework and within an environment of compassion and patience, I strive to make sure each client feels heard, valued, respected, and that we act as joint participants in the client’s therapeutic journey. I’m passionate about people and creating a safe environment where the client feels warm and welcomed. I help facilitate change using a wide variety of therapeutic techniques based on what the client needs which include but are not limited to: Person-Centered therapy, Mindfulness therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Art therapy, and Somatic therapy. I received both my Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. I grew up in Ada County and have loved exploring Idaho’s beauty through the great outdoors. I love to be creative through art and if that is something you enjoy as well, that can be incorporated into therapy sessions! I also enjoy traveling, baking, spending time with my friends and family, and striving to live a healthy lifestyle. |
