One of many reasons why Dr. Dmowski became a psychologist was that she believes there is no greater reward than helping an individual improve the quality of their life. Many people throughout the world struggle with mental health problems, however, they do not realize that they are capable of improving their wellbeing with some professional help. Dr. Dmowski enjoys helping clients overcome their mental and emotional challenges while helping them find new ways of thinking, acting and relating to others in a way that, hopefully, alleviates the difficulties they are experiencing. She believes in collaboration with her clients on the trajectory of their treatment.
Dr. Dmowski has graduated from Illinois School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University) with a doctorate in clinical psychology. She has worked with impaired professionals, individuals struggling with substance abuse, behaviorally disturbed children, and imprisoned individuals. She has worked with clients struggling with a variety of mental health problems ranging from depression and anxiety to schizophrenia and personality disorders. During her work with clients diagnosed with substance abuse issues she decided to become a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Dr. Dmowski works with adolescents and adults.
