My intention is to provide you with a safe and open-minded space to explore any challenges you may be facing towards your wellbeing. Specific treatment techniques I utilize are CBT, DBT, Family Systems Therapy, Play Therapy, and Positive Psychology exercises. Mental health is not a destination but a process, and I am here to walk beside you. I am a graduate of Rutgers University and have my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. My background is in cognitive neuroscience combined with psychotherapy. I have worked with clients of diverse ages and backgrounds in individual, group, and family settings. I have specialized in counseling individuals who have been incarcerated as well as individuals and families navigating a life-changing illness (e.g., dementia, cancer, HIV/AIDS). I additionally work with those at the end of their lives, with a focus on grief and bereavement. When I’m not wearing my counselor’s hat, you can find me trying new recipes in the kitchen or practicing ballet/modern dance. I unapologetically sing in my car and may ask you to give it a try, too. |
