Tammy D. Koolbeck, M.Ed., LPC Supervisor, NCC is the co-owner of Kool Solutions and has been in the counseling profession since 1998 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor. She accepted her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude, and earned her Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix at the main campus in Phoenix, Arizona. She attained her LPC license after receiving state board certification from the state of Texas in 2003. Tammy is now recognized by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC)., along with her many other certifications. She is also a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Certified School Counselor. Tammy specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, acudetox therapy, hypnotherapy, and EMDR. Tammy is an excellent motivational speaker and presenter on many topics related to counseling, psychotherapy, positive psychology, hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming and life coaching.
Barb Tichelbaut, M.A., M.S., LPC Supervisor, NCC, has been working with Kool Solutions as an independent contractor since early 2008. Barb has been working in the field of education and counseling for the past 20-plus years in various roles including counselor, teacher and school board member.
Barb earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, a Master of Arts in the field of education from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University. Barb is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Board Certified Counselor, a Certified School Counselor, and a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist. Barb provides counseling to individuals as well as couples and family counseling.
Paige Raimondi, M.A., LPC-Intern, is an independent contractor at Kool Solutions. Paige completed her Master of Arts in Counseling Degree at Dallas Baptist University. Paige works under the supervision of Debbie Gardner, LPC-S, conducting individual client sessions as well as couples and family counseling. Paige also works as a PRN Therapist and Intake Specialist at Sundance Hospital in Fort Worth. She uses a variety of theoretical techniques and approaches in her counseling sessions. |

Tammy D'ree Koolbeck, M.Ed., LPC-S has been in the counseling profession for over 15 years and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She attained her LPC license after receiving state board certification from the state of Texas. There are rigorous standards that an LPC must uphold, assuring clients that they will receive the best counseling possible. Tammy is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She is also certified by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC). Her other accomplished credentials include Certified Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) which is special training for people experiencing problems with anger issues.Her certification as a Certified Relationship Specialist (CRS) focuses on premarital counseling, marriage and family counseling, and any relationship which is causing struggles in one's life. Tammy is a graduate of the Authentic Happiness Coaching Program which focuses not only on dealing with life's struggles, but also experiencing a more satisfying life and enjoying more rewarding relationships. She also participated in a coaching program with The Coaching Institute.
Tammy is also an LPC Board Approved Supervisor (LPC-S). She is available to supervise LPC interns who are in training to become Licensed Professional Counselors in Texas. Tammy added the title of Certified Advance Clinical Hypnotherapist (C.A.C.H.) in 2006. Hypnotherapy has been demonstrated to be effective for habit control, weight loss, pain management, treating health concerns, quitting smoking, losing weight, and to help a person unlock the potential of their mind in a number of problem solving areas. Hypnotherapy is endorsed by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Psychological Association (APA) for treatments of some patients. Tammy's latest studies have resulted in another area of specialization. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a comprehensive integrative psychotherapy approach designed to maximize treatment effects. EMDR psychotherapy attends to the past experiences that have set the groundwork for pathology, the current situations that trigger dysfunctional emotions, beliefs and sensations, and the positive experience needed to enhance future adaptive behaviors and mental health. |
