Professional Background Professionally, Christine O'Neill MS LPC CAC II is a fully licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology (BS) in 2005 and completed her Master’s in Community Counseling (MS) in 2007, she is also a Certified Mediator, and a Certified Addictions Counselor II.
Experience Christine has worked with a wide range of clients. Initially, her training began with children and adolescents with severe psychological disorders. Christine then went on to work for a non profit organization where she worked with the adult and aging population. Her expertise is in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, addictions, motivation, life coaching, and family systems. Throughout her career, Christine’s main focus and passion has been to help individuals achieve the life they wish to live by motivating and teaching them the skills necessary to change and rise to meet their dreams. Christine has expertise in a wide variety of areas from childhood, aging, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, life transitions, marriage counseling, chronic pain, dual diagnosis, grief, relationships, addictions, communication, and listening and goal setting.
Counseling Philosophy Therapy is provided through a collaborative approach grounded in the premise that the client is the expert of themselves and that Christine contributes expertise on families, individuals, healing, relationships, transitions, and communication.
