Bio:
Paul Ginocchio earned his Master’s of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2008. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex addiction therapist with a private practice in Danville, California. Paul has experience working with a wide variety of presenting issues and he specializes in couples therapy and sexual addiction. Paul's style is a mixture of psychotherapy, counseling, and coaching.

Paul has developed his style of working with couples through advanced Relational Life Therapy trainings with Terry Real, a Boston based couples expert and best selling author of "The New Rules of Marriage." Paul is a certified Relational Life Therapist and specializes in working with couples all of ages and sexual orientations. Paul has also completed specialized trainings with Pia Mellody (author of "The Intimacy Factor") to work more effectively with clients suffering from trauma and family of origin issues that continue to manifest in adulthood in such ways as depression, low self-esteem, and addictions.

Paul is a certified sex addiction therapist - a task based approach to treating sexual addiction developed by sexual addiction expert Patrick Carnes, author of "Out of the Shadows". Paul enjoys helping men, women, and couples heal from the impact of sexual addiction. Paul also facilitates Men's Sexual Recovery Therapy Groups. In addition to his clinical work, Paul is passionate about educating about sexual addiction with his personal film, "The Courage to Love" - a pioneering documentary about four individual's journeys from the shame of sexual addiction to the hope and healing of recovery.
