Bio:

Having come from a military family who lived on military bases and moved frequently, I saw many struggling relationships in my youth. I was so confused as to why so many people seemed to struggle with love and connections. Once I realized my passion was in helping people, I wanted to learn as much as I could about it. It was studying about stress and relationships that I found peace. I learned that love has some amazing research about why so many people struggle. What I learned is my family did not have the skills required to make it work and still feel happy. So, I got some training in the Gottman Method (a world renowned science based counseling) for couples and some extensive work in the physiology of stress. So now I use this in my own marriage. It doesn't magically make things perfect. We still have to work at it every day, but it's the only marriage I want to be in. My hope is that you can feel this way too. I won't preach things to you that I'm not willing to do myself. I have a relaxed and calm personality that most people say help them feel they have an advocate on their side.
