Dr. Zuccala, a Smithtown Chiropractor since 1993, utilizes gentle, conservative chiropractic treatments such as Diversified Technique (the classic chiropractic manual adjustment), Cox Flexion Distraction (a gentle stretching of the spine) and Trigger Point Therapy (pressure applied to the "knots" in your muscles) to ease pain, calm the nerves, release endorphins, and correct the alignment of your spine.

Dr. Nicholas Zuccala grew up in Commack and graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in Biology. He received his chiropractic degree (DC) from New York Chiropractic College in 1992, and opened his first Smithtown office in 1993. Dr. Zuccala holds post-graduate certifications in Sports Injuries, Electro Meridian Imaging, and Muscle Release Technique. He believes education is never-ending, and he continues to take classes so that his patients can be assured of the finest chiropractic care.
For nearly 20 years, Dr. Zuccala has treated thousands of patients, with conditions ranging from back pain to whiplash, scoliosis to sciatica, headaches to arthritis, and herniated discs to carpal tunnel syndrome. He specializes in difficult cases and welcomes patients who are living with chronic pain. Additionally, as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner, Dr. Zuccala enjoys working with athletes and members of our military to keep them in peak physical condition. |
