SpeakChatRead LLC is a private speech-language pathology practice providing individualized, family-centered, and evidence-based speech therapy services to children and adolescents. Services are conveniently provided in your home or online via a secure telepractice platform. SpeakChatRead offers free consultations, as well as comprehensive evaluations and individual therapy sessions.
SpeakChatRead provides services to kids and teens in Phoenixville, PA and the surrounding communities of Collegeville, Mont Clare, Royersford, Spring City, Oaks, Malvern, Kimberton, and Chester Springs.
SpeakChatRead is owned and operated by Julia Low, M.S., CCC-SLP, a pediatric speech-language pathologist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults as a school-based speech therapist. As the only speech therapist at SpeakChatRead, Julia provides all evaluation and therapy services, which allows for consistency and continuity that are not offered at larger practices.

Bio: |
Julia Low, M.S., CCC-SLP is the owner and founding speech-language pathologist at SpeakChatRead LLC. She is an ASHA-certified pediatric speech therapist with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
She graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine with her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology in 2012, where she participated in a specialized training grant regarding language and literacy instruction. Prior to attending Vanderbilt, she graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Linguistics and Psychology in 2010. Prior to opening SpeakChatRead, she worked as a speech-language pathologist at the North Penn School District, the Vanguard School, and the Delaware County Intermediate Unit.
Her specific areas of clinical interest and expertise include: social language/pragmatics/social skills, autism, expressive language, grammar, pre-reading skills, literacy, speech sound disorders/articulation, speech intelligibility, and functional communication.
Julia started SpeakChatRead LLC in order to be home more with her family (she is the mom of two little guys!), while continuing to do what she loves as a speech-language pathologist. |
